This blog won't be a rhetorical Golden Gate bridge or event a Gasworks Park, yet I feel the need to provide a dedication. This need might stem from hubris, but I think it's more a deeply felt desire to see slightly more civil political debate in this wonderful country of ours. My perception is that most of what passes for political debate is more like two Goriallas bellowing at each other over a nice patch of green stuff. There is lot's of noise and gesturing but not much substance.
In the spirit of providing a little light rather than just more heat, I dedicate this blog to William F. Buckley, a man who loved life, loved those around him and knew how to bring light and reason.
